Universities with Technology Business Incubators (TBIs), Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (CIEs), and research commercialisation offices can partner with Legal24by7 to support faculty and student startups at every stage.
The University Partner Programme is designed for central universities, state universities, deemed universities and IIT/NIT/IIM institutions. We integrate with your TBI, innovation fund and startup cell to provide comprehensive legal support for research commercialisation, spinoff formation and student entrepreneurship.
Who Can Join
Central and state universities, deemed-to-be universities, IITs, NITs, IIMs, IISERs, and all UGC-recognised university-level institutions with an active innovation or entrepreneurship ecosystem.

Custom institutional pricing. Commission credited to your TBI fund or innovation account. High-volume universities get dedicated account management.
Custom institutional commission negotiated based on ecosystem size. Minimum 10% on all referrals with volume bonuses.
Eligibility
UGC-recognised university with an active TBI, SINE, CIE, or incubation programme. MOU through the appropriate authority (VC office or TBI director).

Spinoff company incorporation, IP assignment from institution to spinoff, funding round documentation, and ongoing compliance are all available.
Do you support international patent filing (PCT)?
Yes — we support PCT (Patent Cooperation Treaty) filings for innovations with international commercialisation potential.
